Thermography Camera
See what you cannot see in the wall and ceiling, water leakage, lack of insulation
Electrical Panel
Thermal anomaly: much higher temperature than the surrounding components. Possible causes for this defects by 1.loose connections. 2. overloaded circuit. 3. Failing Breaker

Lack of Insulation?
Thermal anomaly: Irregular heat patterns, possible cause by missing or displaced insulation. Darker line represent the framing members (Studs or joist), which in this specific temperature differential, are conducting less heat than the uninsulated cavities.
Air infiltration
Thermal anomaly: The spidering or feathered dark patterns radiating from the corner are tell-tale signs of air infiltration. Outside cold air is leaking through the gap between the top plate of the wall and the ceiling drywall. The convective cooling, it cools the surface of the drywall, creating the dark thermal signature seen around the blue crosshairs.
Water leakages?
Thermal anomaly: The dark pattern spread out and is colder than the other areas in the ceiling. By reliable moisture meter to measure its relatively moisture contents.
